There is no way to learn the history of this city without tasting some of its several delicacies, which don’t taste the same anywhere else in Greece.

What to expect
- Meet with your guide by the landmark of the city, the White Tower, learn all about it and start your tour with the gorgeous view of the Thermaikos gulf on the one side and the view of the city on the other side.

- Walk to the Arch of Galerius and the “Rotonda” and of course the church of Aghia Sophia, which is a micrograph of the Agia Sophia church in Constantinople.
make a short stop again, this time in order to taste the famous “bougatsa” (sweet or savory pie). - Visit the recently renovated “Modiano Market”, full of sophisticated shops, selling local specialties and where of course you will once again stop, so you can, this time, taste a plate with a variety of Greek Cheeses in one of it’s little stores.
- Walk through the Jewish Quarter and also among some of the emblematic and charming buildings from previous centuries located in the area.
- Visit the “Kapani Market” where you will feel the vibes of the busy city and you will see where the locals come on a daily basis to buy their food supplies from. Full of little shops selling meat and fish, olives, spices and even household equipment or tools.
- To combine culture with food and in order to complete the day the best possible way, you will be offered a light meal consisting of a variety of “Mezedes” (Greek Tapas) accompanied by the “house” win in a famous taverna located just in the Kapani Market.
